Warner Music India has announced a strategic minority investment in SkillBox, a leading platform in live entertainment and ticketing. This partnership marks Warner Music India’s entry into the live entertainment space, broadening its service offerings and creating new opportunities for its artists.
Founded by Anmol Kukreja and Sandip Ranjhan, with key team members Roydon Bangera and Amarjeet Singha, SkillBox began as a ticketing platform and has evolved into a comprehensive live entertainment company. SkillBox now offers ticketing, live brand solutions, and live tech services through its SkillBox Pay platform, and its artist management arm, LevelHouse, represents top Indian acts like Parvaaz, Blackstratblues, and Parekh and Singh.
With this collaboration, Warner Music India will integrate live events and ticketing into its portfolio, enabling its artists to connect with wider audiences and providing fans with unforgettable live music experiences.
Jay Mehta, Managing Director of Warner Music India and SAARC, said, “Investing in SkillBox—a leader in ticketing, live events, and artist management—perfectly aligns with Warner Music India’s artist-first, fan-first philosophy. SkillBox’s innovative approach to live entertainment complements our vision to provide artists with comprehensive services. The live entertainment sector in India is poised for significant growth, and together, we can open dynamic new opportunities in this fast-evolving market.”
Alfonso Perez Soto, EVP of Recorded Music, Corporate Development, added, “India’s live entertainment industry is still in its early stages, with massive growth potential. Our investment in SkillBox enables us to expand our artist offerings across India, connecting domestic and international artists with fans nationwide. We’re excited to leverage SkillBox’s expertise in this high-growth sector.”
Anmol Kukreja, CEO and Founder of SkillBox, shared his excitement: “Partnering with Warner Music India marks a major milestone in SkillBox’s journey. This collaboration aligns with our mission to redefine live entertainment, delivering unparalleled experiences for artists and fans alike. With Warner Music’s global reach and industry expertise, we look forward to expanding opportunities for artists and creating memorable live events across India.”
Roydon Bangera, Chief Business Officer at SkillBox, added, “We’re thrilled to join forces with Warner Music to foster a dynamic ecosystem for live music in India. Together, we aim to create a more artist-centric industry, leveraging our expertise in music IPs and branded experiences to deepen the connection between artists and fans. This partnership paves the way for a new era in India’s live entertainment landscape.”
