Sony Music Gamify's Namaste England
Sony Music has launched a new game, based on the movie Namaste England.
The Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer has been made into an addictive chase game called ‘Namaste England – Official Movie Game’ in partnership with Studio Next – Digital. The game is available on both google play store and app store. The story line of the movie follows Arjun Kapoor’s chase from Punjab to England, for the girl of his dreams, Parineeti Chopra. The game has been designed keeping this chase in mind. There are 5 levels of the game and each level would get the user closer to his/her final destination. Each level has exciting obstacles involved while also keeping it fun by having the album tracks synched with the game.
We wanted to do something innovative on the film and the music, and what better than a game that is interactive,  fun and targets Gen Z. The idea was to get movie fanatics to experience the joy of chase whilst keeping the theme of the film in mind.  We worked closely with the Studio Next – Digital team, and we are sure the gen Z will love the game. - Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director, Sony Music India
While a lot of movies have been gamified before, Sony seems to have come up with a concept that may have the audience completely hooked.
Studio Next, Digital aims to create high quality games around entertainment IPs. Namaste England Official Movie Game is our first step towards that direction. We are very excited with this collaboration and have been enthused by the positive response the game has generated in the first few days of launch itself. In the coming months we will continue to strengthen our presence in the gaming space - Amogh Dusad, Senior Vice President, Studio Next – Digital
You can find the downloadable link of the game here (supported on mobile devices only) - https://SMI.lnk.to/NamasteEngland-OfficialMovieGame
