FENIX360 has partnered with Indian music streaming platform Gaana to introduce a creator-focused ecosystem aimed at helping artists build stronger fan relationships and unlock new revenue streams beyond traditional streaming. The partnership will see FENIX360’s suite of artist monetisation tools gradually integrated into Gaana throughout 2026.
The collaboration is designed to give artists access to alternative ways of earning from their music and audiences. Under the proposed model, 70% of new revenue generated through the additional features will go directly to artists or relevant rights holders, while the remaining 30% will be split equally between FENIX360 and Gaana.
The new ecosystem is expected to expand the relationship between artists and fans beyond simply streaming music. FENIX360’s platform brings together music, video, social engagement, merchandise, live experiences and other creator-focused functions, allowing artists to develop a more direct connection with their audiences.
According to reports, artists using the integrated tools will be able to create dedicated spaces within the platform and explore opportunities around music, merchandise, digital content, tickets and live experiences. The rollout will take place in phases across 2026.
The partnership comes as the music industry increasingly looks beyond streaming royalties towards diversified income models. FENIX360’s approach is centred on giving artists greater control over their careers while enabling fans to support creators through multiple forms of engagement.
Yatish Mehrishi, CEO of Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), which operates Gaana, said the collaboration could create new opportunities for artist engagement, monetisation and fan connection as the company continues to develop its audio and entertainment ecosystem.
Allan Mark Klepfisz, Chairman & CEO of FENIX360, described the partnership as a milestone in the company’s mission to build a creator ecosystem, adding that India represents an important music market for helping artists grow audiences, strengthen fan relationships and create new income opportunities.
The partnership reflects a wider shift in the digital music business, with streaming platforms increasingly exploring ways to evolve from distribution services into broader artist-to-fan ecosystems. For artists, the focus is moving towards building sustainable careers through a combination of streaming, commerce, live experiences, fan engagement and other direct revenue opportunities.
