Microsoft Copilot, formerly Bing Chat, introduces a new plugin for instant song generation. Leveraging Suno, an AI-powered music-creation tool, users can now craft songs within seconds based on a text prompt. This feature, available as a Copilot plug-in, empowers users to generate songs encompassing lyrics, instrumentals, and singing voice—all from a single sentence. Typically one or two minutes in length, Copilot also provides a transcript of the generated lyrics.
It's important to highlight that Suno retains ownership of these AI-generated songs, and users are unable to monetize them on major music platforms like Spotify and YouTube. Nevertheless, users can share these songs on social media and utilize them for non-commercial purposes.
