Sony And Warner Music Cancel Grammy Events To Aid Wildfire Relief Efforts

In a united show of support, Sony Music Group and Warner Music Group have joined Universal Music Group in canceling their planned Grammy events to aid those affected by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. Despite these changes, the Recording Academy has confirmed that the Grammy Awards ceremony will proceed as scheduled on February 2nd at the Crypto.com Arena.

Sony Music Group has canceled all Grammy-related events and announced a $5 million donation to support wildfire emergency relief and long-term recovery efforts. The funds will assist first responders, affected communities, and employees impacted by the disaster.

Warner Music Group followed suit, canceling its Pre-Grammy party and committing $1 million toward relief efforts. Likewise, BMG has canceled its pre-Grammy celebration, expressing deep gratitude to Los Angeles County firefighters and first responders working tirelessly to combat the fires.

These actions underscore the music industry's collective compassion and commitment to aiding their communities in times of crisis. While the Grammys will proceed, the focus has shifted to raising awareness and resources for those impacted by the wildfires.
