Singer Adnan Sami, formerly a Pakistani national and now an Indian citizen, has voiced strong support for Operation Sindoor, India’s precision military operation targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sami posted a patriotic “Jai Hind!! #OperationSindoor,” aligning himself with the Indian Armed Forces. In a follow-up post, he shared a meme mocking Pakistani news anchors, captioned: “Pakistani TV News Anchors Right Now!! ‘AAAAL IS VELLLL !!!’”
Days earlier, Sami had shared a personal anecdote from a trip to Azerbaijan, where young Pakistani nationals reportedly told him:
“Sir, you are lucky you left Pakistan in good time. We hate our army… They have destroyed our country!”
Sami responded: “I knew.”
Prominent Bollywood figures also rallied behind the Indian military. Actress Kangana Ranaut, known for her vocal nationalism, praised the operation:
“Operation Sindoor: Zero tolerance to terror… 9 terror camps neutralized.”
She also posted footage from the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and PM Modi’s response, praying for the troops:
“May God protect those who protect us. Wishing our forces safety and success.”
Actors Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Nimrat Kaur echoed the sentiment. Akshay wrote, “Jai Hind. Jai Mahakaal!”, while Riteish shared, “Jai Hind Ki Sena… Bharat Mata Ki Jai!” and Nimrat stated: “United with our forces. One country. One mission.”
According to the Ministry of Defence, the operation precisely struck nine terror hubs linked to attacks on India, including the recent Pahalgam incident, which claimed 25 Indian lives and that of one Nepali national. The Ministry clarified the mission was “focused, measured, and non-escalatory,” deliberately avoiding Pakistani military facilities.
In its official statement, the government reaffirmed its stance,“We are living up to our commitment — those responsible for the attack will be held accountable.”
The documentary reveals that the sale was driven by urgent financial pressures, including excessive spending and mismanagement of funds.
