Spotify India Launches ‘Roz Ke Kaam Fun Banao, Spotify Chalao’ Campaign

Spotify India has launched a new campaign, ‘Roz Ke Kaam Fun Banao, Spotify Chalao’, highlighting how music can transform everyday household chores into more enjoyable moments.

The campaign opens with a husband getting ready and styling his hair when he hears his wife exclaim “Aha!” from across the room. Assuming she is reacting to his appearance, he adjusts his hair again, only to discover that she is ironing clothes while singing along to a song playing on her phone.

Another film features a roommate washing dishes with unusual energy, leaving the utensils spotless while getting lost in the rhythm of the music.

Built around the idea that music can elevate not just life’s big moments but everyday routines as well, the campaign comprises eight films across five languages , Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Bhojpuri.

The films showcase everyday activities such as ironing, washing dishes, mopping and fixing a lightbulb, with music turning otherwise routine chores into moments of joy.

According to Spotify’s research, 97% of Indian users say the platform makes mundane activities more enjoyable, while 98% consider Spotify essential to their daily routine. Further, 71% say they feel relaxed when using the platform.

Shipra Srivastava, Head of Marketing, Spotify India, said, “There's something universal about how music changes the texture of a moment. It doesn't matter what language you speak or what chore you're doing, when the right song comes on, the task feels different. Cleaning the home, ironing clothes, washing utensils, fixing a light bulb - for millions of listeners, these are already music moments. Our research backs this up - 98% of Indian users say Spotify is essential to their daily routine. This campaign is about that everyday relationship with music, and the joy it quietly adds to the routines we don't think twice about.”

The campaign also comes amid Spotify’s growing Indian music ecosystem. According to Spotify’s latest Loud & Clear report, Indian artists were streamed nearly 335 billion times on the platform in 2025, accounting for more than 20 billion hours of listening.

Regional-language music also recorded strong growth, with royalties for Telugu artists increasing by more than 120% year-on-year, while Malayalam and Tamil artists saw growth of over 30% and 20%, respectively.

Rolling out over five weeks across television, digital and social platforms, the campaign aims to spotlight music’s role in making everyday routines more engaging.
