Acclaimed rapper and singer-songwriter Badshah delivered a show-stopping performance at a sold-out GraFest concert in Dehradun. But beyond the electrifying music, Badshah surprised the audience with a heartwarming act of generosity – awarding scholarships on the spot to deserving students.
Talking about this noble gesture, Badshah who is also widely known for his philanthropic endeavours shares, “Education is the key to unlocking potential. I come from a humble background myself and I know the importance of opportunity. I'm honored to give back to the city that's shown me so much love."
To identify deserving students, Badshah collaborated with Graphic Era University, a respected educational institute in Dehradun. Several students with exceptional academic achievements and financial needs were chosen. After the concert, Badshah personally greeted these students and awarded them scholarships to support their education.
The GraFest concert was a resounding success. The audience wasn't just captivated by Badshah's hit songs, but also witnessed the public resolution of Badshah’s 15-year-old feud with Honey Singh.
Fresh off crossing 3 billion streams on Spotify and a massive 100 million streams for his latest album 'Ek Tha Raja,' Badshah is gearing up for his debut Pagaal World Tour.
