Prime Video, in collaboration with Sony Music, has officially unveiled the complete music album of its upcoming Original series Matka King. Featuring six original tracks, the soundtrack is composed by Amit Trivedi, Parag Chhabra, B Prasanna, and Ajay Jayanthi, offering a rich, genre-blending musical experience set against the backdrop of 1960s Bombay.
The album brings together a diverse lineup of voices including Amit Trivedi, Parag Chhabra, Simran Choudhary, Keerthana Vaidyanathan, Yashika Sikka, Jyotsana Jawda, and Shantanu Raina. Each track captures a distinct emotional and narrative layer of the series, reflecting themes of ambition, resilience, and transformation.
Among the standout tracks, Matka King Title Theme has already gained traction for its distinctive fusion of saxophone and dhol, setting the tone for the series’ world. Hoga Savera appears in both retro and modern versions, capturing the protagonist’s aspiration and optimism, while Raasta blends classical and contemporary elements to reflect deeper introspection. Tracks like Dhaaga Dhaaga and Bhaga Re add emotional depth, exploring relationships, ??????, and perseverance.
The album collectively mirrors the journey of Brij Bhatti, an ambitious trader navigating the high-stakes world of the Matka game, as he transforms it into a mass phenomenon amid the shifting socio-economic landscape of the time.
Created and written by Abhay Koranne, and directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Matka King features a stellar cast including Vijay Varma, Kritika Kamra, Sai Tamhankar, Siddharth Jadhav, and Gulshan Grover, among others. The series is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Gargi Kulkarni, Ashwini Sidwani, and Ashish Aryan under Roy Kapur Films, Aatpat, and SMR Entertainment.
The full album is now available across leading music streaming platforms, ahead of the series premiere on Prime Video on April 17, 2026, across India and over 240 countries and territories.
