MAMMA MIA! Makes It's Grand Debut At The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre

Fresh off the success of international Broadway musicals ‘The Sound of Music’ and ‘West Side Story’, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre is now set to add yet another classic to its repertoire of the best of the world’s theatrical shows with smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!

One of the longest running shows at London’s West End, MAMMA MIA! tells a tale of love and friendship, set on an idyllic Greek island where the sun always shines. The heart- warming story of a mother and daughter unfolds to the timeless hits of legendary Swedish band ABBA.

Hailed as the sunniest of all musicals, MAMMA MIA! tells the story of single mother Donna and her soon-to-be-a-bride daughter Sophie, whose quest to discover the father she’s never known brings Donna face to face with three men from her distant romantic past.

The sensational feel-good musical filled with the myriad emotions of human relationships has thrilled over 65 million people around the world across 50 productions in over 16 languages, garnering critical acclaim and the distinction of being ‘ABBA-solutely’ fabulous! With music & lyrics by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, MAMMA MIA! is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material & arrangements by Martin Koch.
