Kapil Sharma Dives Into An Emotional Journey With His New Song 'Guilt'

Kapil Sharma, widely recognized as a comedian, has often showcased his love for singing on his comedy shows. Now, he has taken his passion a step further by releasing his single Guilt, described as an “emotional journey of love and reflection.” The song’s music is composed by Dr. Zeus, known for popular tracks like Kangana Tera Ni and Woofer.

In the music video for Guilt, Kapil portrays a wealthy man haunted by the loss of his wife. As he reflects on their relationship, he is overcome with remorse for his infidelity during their marriage. The video features a series of visually striking and opulent scenes, including Kapil standing in the sea beside a burning chair, a woman in a bathtub amidst a jungle, and another posing under an umbrella in the rain near a yellow sports car. The production spares no expense, with lavish sets that include a mansion, a helicopter, and a Rolls-Royce, along with high-end wardrobe choices for the cast.

This isn’t Kapil’s first venture into music. In 2023, he released his debut single Alone with Guru Randhawa. While the song didn’t achieve significant success, Kapil’s talent for singing has been evident through his performances on his shows and his Netflix special Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet. His Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, is currently on hiatus after completing two seasons of 13 episodes each. Fans are eagerly awaiting an announcement about the third season.

Kapil has also explored acting in recent years. Starting with comedy films like Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Firangi, he later took on more serious roles. He played a food delivery agent in Nandita Das’ Zwigato and appeared alongside Tabu in Crew, a film that also starred Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh.
