Percept ICE Brings Music, Entertainment And Experiential Storytelling To GJEPC Events

Percept ICE, the Experiential Marketing, Event Management, Exhibitions and Brand Activations division of Percept Limited, delivered two high-profile events for the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) at Mumbai’s Grand Hyatt on August 5 and 6, 2026.

The two-day engagement included the GJEPC IIJS 2026 Networking Night with Sachit–Parampara on August 5, followed by the GJEPC Jewellers For Hope Charity Dinner on August 6. Together, the events brought the industry’s leadership, global stakeholders, government dignitaries, celebrities and members of the jewellery fraternity under one roof.

Across both evenings, Percept ICE managed the complete event experience, including stagecraft, décor, lighting, AV, entertainment, celebrity and artist management, hospitality and guest movement.

GJEPC IIJS Networking Night

The GJEPC IIJS 2026 Networking Night welcomed around 1,200 guests, including leading members of India’s jewellery industry, international industry representatives and distinguished personalities.

The evening featured the prestigious Legends Award Ceremony, honouring global jewellery industry leaders including Paul Rowley, Ronnie VanderLinden, Gaetano Cavalieri, Tawhid Abdullah, Pritesh Patel, Anoop Mehta, Mehul Shah, Ahmed Bin Sulayem and David J. Bonaparte.

The event also celebrated the institutional legacy of GJEPC and IIJS, with special felicitations for former chairmen, vice chairmen, IIJS conveners and past employees.

Among the distinguished attendees were Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, GJEPC; Rajesh Gawande, Secretary Protocol, FDI and Diaspora Affairs for Maharashtra; Sachin Jain, Regional CEO – India, World Gold Council; and Jignesh Shah, Mentor and Coach, India Gold Metaverse.

The evening concluded with a live performance by Sachit–Parampara and their band, bringing a high-energy finale to the awards and networking celebration.

Jewellers For Hope Charity Dinner

The following evening, Percept ICE delivered the GJEPC Jewellers For Hope Charity Dinner, which brought together approximately 460 guests for an evening centred on philanthropy and social impact.

The event featured elegant hospitality, curated décor, storytelling and celebrity engagement, with actress Madhuri Dixit serving as one of the evening’s highlights. Following her felicitation, Dixit participated in a fireside chat, bringing a personal dimension to the evening’s philanthropic focus.

The gathering included prominent personalities such as Kirit Bhansali, Rahul Narwekar, Shweta Harit, Sachin Jain, Amit Pratihari and Paul De Wachter, alongside leading industry members.

A key moment was the presentation of a charity cheque to the Gems & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF), with Madhuri Dixit and senior GJEPC and industry representatives participating in the presentation.

The evening also saw the launch of a special PNG Jewellers book, led by Dr. Saurabh Gadgil, followed by the “Dinner with an Icon” auction, offering guests an opportunity to win an intimate dinner with Gadgil.

Speaking about the two events, Vidya Alva, COO, Percept ICE, said, “The real measure of a great live experience is when the complexity behind it disappears and the guest simply feels the moment. For GJEPC, we created two very different experiences – one celebrating the global stature and legacy of the jewellery industry, the other celebrating its generosity and softer side. From design and production to entertainment, celebrity integration and guest management, every detail was orchestrated to create experiences that felt seamless, elevated and meaningful.”

With more than 1,600 guests across two evenings, Percept ICE showcased its ability to deliver large-scale experiences spanning industry recognition, entertainment, hospitality and philanthropy, while creating distinct experiences tailored to the purpose of each event.
