By Sohani Mittal Wajid Khan of the duo Sajid-Wajid passed away on Sunday, 31 May. The 42-year-old musician was suffering from heart and kidney problems. His brother, Sajid confirmed that the demise was due to cardiac arrest. Adding to that, Wajid also tested positive for COVID- 19. Wajid was the son of a tabla player, Ustad Sharafat Ali Khan. He was a Hindi film musician, singer and guitarist, born on 10 July 1977 in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The actor, Salman Khan, gave the duo, Sajid- Wajid, the platform of Bollywood with his film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. The duo credits their success to the actor. We all know that Wajid Khan composed music majorly with his brother, Sajid Khan, he also sang some popular songs; his first song was Bang Bang, for his mentor Salman. Wajid always describes Salman Khan as his elder brother.
