Spotify Wrapped is nothing but listening highlights of a user, providing a deeper look into the listening habits with a personalised recap. The personalised summary includes listeners’ top artists and songs based on the data tracked until October 31 each year.

Along with Spotify, other music streaming platforms such as YouTube Music and Apple Music also release their yearly summaries. YouTube Music's yearly summary is called Recap and it includes a personalised playlist and stats that summarises users’ top artists, songs and more from the past year.
Meanwhile, Apple Music’s annual summary is called Replay that provides a yearly summary of a user's listening habits, including their top songs, artists, albums and genres. It also includes an animation that recaps the user's activity and a milestone section that highlights any goals they reached.
