ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) has expanded Umesh Bansal's responsibilities by assigning him the additional charge of the Music business. Bansal will take on this new role alongside his current position as the Chief Business Officer of the Movies business. He will continue to report directly to Punit Goenka, the MD & CEO of ZEE.
This decision aligns with the company's resource optimization strategy and aims to enhance the synergistic capabilities of both the movies and music sectors to drive overall growth.
Anurag Bedi, who has successfully led the Music business until now, will be taking on new and challenging responsibilities. These new roles will be announced soon.
While the Movies business remains a strategic part of ZEE's portfolio, the Music business aims to strengthen its market presence and enhance its monetization opportunities through a focus on profitability.
