Toyota has partnered with three-time Latin Grammy-nominated Puerto Rican artist Álvaro Díaz for a new music-driven campaign celebrating music discovery, cultural exchange and fan engagement. The collaboration draws inspiration from Díaz's latest album, OMAKASE, blending Toyota's Japanese heritage with the artist's fusion of Japanese and Puerto Rican influences.
As part of the campaign, Toyota and Díaz have collaborated with artists Shingo Yamazaki and Bikismo to create a limited-edition series of posters inspired by the album's tracklist and visual aesthetic. The artwork combines Japanese and Puerto Rican artistic traditions, reflecting the cultural themes explored throughout OMAKASE.
Fans attending Díaz's performance at the Toyota Music Den during Lollapalooza will have the opportunity to receive the exclusive posters, while additional artwork will be made available through Toyota Latino's digital channels.
Released earlier this year, OMAKASE debuted at No. 1 on Spotify's Top Albums Debut Global chart, topped Apple Music charts in more than 16 countries and has accumulated over 200 million streams worldwide. Toyota said the album's themes of creativity, discovery and cultural connection made Díaz a natural collaborator for the campaign.
The partnership builds on Toyota's ongoing efforts to support artists through music-focused experiences. Earlier this year, the automaker introduced OMAKASE to fans at Chicago's Sueños Music Festival and plans to continue the collaboration through future projects, including Sounds of the Road, a performance and interview series presented with SiriusXM, featuring Díaz later this year.
