It’s a special moment for multi-talented artist Shruti Haasan as her independent single 'Inimel' completes one year since its release. Conceptualized, composed, and sung by Shruti herself, the track holds an emotional connect as the lyrics were beautifully penned by her father and legendary actor Kamal Haasan. The music video also featured ace director Lokesh Kanagaraj alongside Shruti.
Released under Raaj Kamal Films International, 'Inimel' was Shruti’s forth independent single after Edge, She Is A Hero, and Monster Machine. The song has clocked over 1.4 crore views on YouTube, a testament to its timeless appeal.
Shruti will be performing live along with her band in Hyderabad at Odeum By Prism on March 28. On the film front, Shruti has recently wrapped up her shoot for Rajnikanth starrer 'Coolie', helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Her international debut film 'The Eye' is also making waves at global film festivals and was recently premiered in India at the Wench Film Festival. The film is set to release later this year.
The celebrations will feature the legendary Padma Vibhushan Shri. Amitabh Bachchan narrating evocative stories of the Ram Katha.
