Moksha 360 Launches Supernova Star Search With Rs1 Crore Prize To Uplift Indie Music

In a bold move set to reshape the independent music landscape in India, Moksha 360 has announced the launch of Supernova Star Search, a national talent competition offering a massive prize pool of over ?1 crore. Touted as a first-of-its-kind initiative, Supernova blends cutting-edge digital engagement with high-energy live events, aiming to discover, nurture, and launch the country’s next generation of music superstars.

The competition kicks off in May 2025 with its South India edition, inviting aspiring singers, songwriters, and independent artists from across the region. Auditions and public voting will be hosted on the immersive eyeora XR platform, providing a tech-forward, digital-first experience that will lead into a high-profile grand finale in Bangalore.

Supernova Star Search offers a ?1 crore prize pool that includes cash rewards, professional music production, video shoots, and national PR campaigns. The competition combines online auditions and public voting with live semi-finals and finals featuring celebrity judges and industry mentors. Winners will receive comprehensive artist development contracts under Moksha 360, covering full-spectrum management, audio and video production, and global exposure. The initiative will roll out in phases across South, West, and North India throughout 2025.

Backed by music veterans Richard Andrew and Bobby “Beebob” Baskaran, Supernova boasts a Grammy-level network and an “artist-first” mission. Strategic partners include Alliance Française as the official venue, Total Productions for event execution, and Radio Indigo as the radio partner.

“Supernova is more than a competition—it’s a platform for India’s hidden talent to explode into stardom,” said Richard Andrew, co-founder of Moksha 360. “We’re building an ecosystem where artists are given the tools and mentorship to grow on both national and global stages.”

Bobby Beebob added, “As a lifelong musician and mentor, I know the struggles independent artists face. Supernova Star Search is our answer—a bold, creative, and tech-driven space for raw talent to thrive.”

With its ambitious scale and strong focus on artist empowerment, Supernova Star Search is poised to become a landmark movement in Indian music—shining a national spotlight on the voices that deserve to be heard.
