HYBE has officially entered India’s talent ecosystem with the launch of the HYBE India Audition, marking a significant step in its global artist discovery and development strategy.

The initiative aligns with HYBE’s globally established “multi-home, multi-genre” approach, which focuses on building localized artist ecosystems across key markets. With India emerging as a high-growth music territory, HYBE India aims to replicate its proven artist development model,responsible for creating global acts,within the country.

The company, known for shaping international superstars like BTS and global girl group KATSEYE, is now turning its attention to India to identify and nurture the next wave of globally relevant talent.

The HYBE India Audition will be open to aspiring artists from India as well as the Indian diaspora. Selected candidates will gain access to HYBE’s world-class training and production ecosystem, which integrates performance development, creative direction, and global storytelling frameworks. The program is designed to groom artists capable of representing India on the international stage.

At its core, the initiative reflects HYBE India’s belief in the untapped potential of Indian youth and its ambition to shape the future of the country’s music and entertainment landscape by combining local authenticity with global expertise.

The audition process will feature both online and offline formats, with on-ground auditions scheduled across major cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.

The audition is being rolled out in collaboration with leading brands such as H&M, Shoppers Stop, Samsung, and Nongshim. Meanwhile, Snapchat and BookMyShow will come on board as media and ticketing partners, respectively. These collaborations will drive a mix of on-ground activations, retail integrations, and digital experiences aimed at engaging young audiences across touchpoints.
