As a mark of respect and solidarity with the victims and their families, Arijit Singh, in collaboration with the event organisers, has chosen to cancel the performance. A statement from the organisers expressed, “IMPORTANT UPDATE: In response to the tragic events, both the organisers and the artist have made the collective decision to cancel the Chennai show scheduled for this Sunday, April 27. All ticket holders will be issued full refunds, which will be automatically credited to the original method of payment.”
