The Piano Man Delhi To Host Mohd. Rafi-Kishore Kumar Tribute And Arjun Sagar Gupta Jazz Gala

The Piano Man, Eldeco Centre, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, is set to host two distinct musical evenings this weekend, bringing together the timeless sounds of retro Bollywood and the enduring spirit of jazz.

On August 15, 2026, Delhi-based band Lost Radio will pay tribute to legendary playback singers Mohd. Rafi and Kishore Kumar, whose voices and songs have remained an integral part of India’s musical legacy.

Known for its repertoire of retro Bollywood favourites and English classics, Lost Radio features Diyatom Deb on vocals, Sushant Thakur on guitar, Archit Agrawal on bass, Naman Datta on drums and vocals, and Shivam Khare on piano and keyboard.

The performance will revisit some of the most beloved songs associated with Rafi and Kishore Kumar, spanning soulful ballads and energetic classics. The band will bring its own contemporary energy and musicianship to the repertoire, offering audiences a nostalgic evening celebrating two of Bollywood’s most iconic voices.

The following evening, on August 16, The Piano Man will present A Jazz Gala by Arjun Sagar Gupta, featuring acclaimed pianist and vocalist Arjun Sagar Gupta alongside an international ensemble of musicians.

The lineup includes Canadian vocalist Alyse Pascoe, American saxophonist Ryan Cerrone, vocalist Smiti Malik, saxophonists Abhay Sharma and Aniket Chaturvedi, trumpeter Priyansh Jindal, bassist Geet Gupta, and drummer Aditya Bhagavatula.

The ensemble will reinterpret jazz standards through a mix of sophisticated musicianship, improvisation and contemporary arrangements. The performance promises to bring together international and Indian jazz talent for an evening celebrating the genre’s richness and enduring appeal.
