2023 seems to have been quite an eventful year for artist Raja Kumari with some amazing milestones on the professional front. fact, on the professional front.
Her album 'The Bridge' was quite well received and then Raja Kumari went on to perform with John Legend on his maiden India Tour. Bollywood couldn't get enough of her talent either, as she sung the title track for Jawan, creating an anthem for the King Khan himself and recently gave her voice for the 'Sherni of Bollywood' Sushmita Sen.
Now that she's embarking on her World Tour later this month, she has brought yet another treat for her fans right before Diwali.
Her new music video for 'No Nazar' has released on Choti Diwali and it surely has our attention!
The song comes from Raja Kumari’s own label Godmother Records and it gives a very international feel. Unlike anything else we have seen coming out of the Indian Independent Music scene. From the visual aspect to Raja Kumari’s amazing voice this is probably the best Diwali gift her fans can get. Talking about the song Raja Kumari says, “No nazar is a song that was written during a dark time in my life. I wrote the lyrics like a protection spell, so that anyone that listens to it is protected from the evil eye and negative energy. If your energy is aligned then no one can mess with you! Releasing it around Diwali seemed fitting as the festival celebrates the triumph of light over darkness!”
Raja Kumari has been quite a game-changer in the music industry by bringing modern independent music to this generation. Some of her other amazing songs from The Bridge include Juice, Born To Win, Fearless and La India.
