Carvaan Live Debuts In Mumbai With Kishore Kumar And Pritam Tribute Concerts

Carvaan Live made its debut in Mumbai with an intimate music-led experience at the Grand Showroom, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, bringing together audiences for an evening built around nostalgia, storytelling and timeless songs.

Created as an extension of the widely popular Carvaan audio product by Saregama, Carvaan Live reimagines the emotional connect of classic music in a live concert format focused on warmth, intimacy and audience participation rather than large-scale festival production.

Unlike conventional live music events dominated by loud production and festival-style staging, the evening featured a sit-down concert setting with lantern-lit décor, soft lighting and an atmosphere designed to encourage audiences to immerse themselves fully in the music.

The showcase moved through two distinct musical themes. The first segment celebrated the timeless music of Kishore Kumar, with The Indian Jam Project performing classics including Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana and Mere Sapno Ki Rani. Audience members gradually joined in, turning the performance into a collective singalong experience.

The second half shifted towards contemporary Bollywood music composed by Pritam, featuring songs such as Tum Se Hi, Tum Kya Mile, Kesariya and Ve Kamleya, creating a more personal and emotional atmosphere inside the venue.

The opening night drew a diverse audience comprising families, couples and solo attendees, reflecting the cross-generational appeal of familiar Hindi film music and nostalgia-driven live experiences.

Following its Mumbai launch, Carvaan Live is set to travel across multiple cities, including Bengaluru at Hyatt Centric on May 23, Delhi at The Ambassador on May 24, and Mumbai once again at Four Seasons Worli on May 31.

Tickets for the upcoming shows are currently available on BookMyShow.
