ACT Fibernet has announced a strategic partnership with Spotify, aimed at enhancing the home entertainment experience for its broadband customers. As part of the collaboration, eligible ACT users will receive three months of complimentary Spotify Premium Standard access.
The offering, valued at Rs 597, allows users to enjoy ad-free, high-quality audio streaming across devices. The benefit is powered by ACT’s SmartWiFi service, designed to deliver seamless connectivity throughout the home.
Ravi Karthik, Chief Growth Officer at ACT Fibernet, said the partnership reflects the company’s vision of redefining digital experiences at home by integrating connectivity with personalised content. He added that combining SmartWiFi with music and podcasts ensures uninterrupted access as users move across devices and spaces.
The move comes as music streaming continues to be a major driver of home internet consumption, with users expecting consistent, high-quality playback across multiple devices. By bundling premium content with broadband services, ACT aims to deepen customer engagement and strengthen long-term loyalty.
ACT Fibernet, which focuses on metro markets across India, sees this partnership as part of a broader strategy to build a digital lifestyle ecosystem on top of reliable connectivity, rather than offering connectivity as a standalone service.
Rami Jamal, Head of Partnerships for Southern Asia, Middle East and Africa at Spotify, noted that music plays a deeply personal role in everyday life and highlighted that India generates over 16 billion streams daily. He added that the collaboration will bring Spotify Premium’s uninterrupted and personalised listening experience to more homes across the country.
