Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals have unveiled their official team anthem for Pro Wrestling League (PWL) 2.0, tapping into Mumbai’s contemporary rap culture while drawing from traditional regional instrumentation to establish the franchise’s sonic identity in its debut season. The anthem’s music video captures the team’s growing presence in the league, featuring high-energy matchday visuals, training sequences, and an increasingly vocal fanbase rallying behind the Tiigers.
Fronted by India’s youngest Olympic medallist and team captain Aman Sehrawat, alongside breakout performers Mukul Dahiya and Jyoti Sihag, the video reflects the momentum building around the franchise both on and off the mat. Scenes from league arenas show fans wearing and waving Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals scarves, now a familiar sight in PWL 2.0 stands, chanting and engaging as the team begins to carve out its own following.
The anthem arrives at a defining moment for the Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals, co-owned by Aspect Sports and Apco Infratech, as the franchise establishes its identity in its first Pro Wrestling League campaign. On the competitive front, Jyoti Sihag delivered one of the standout results of the early season by defeating Olympic silver medallist Yusneylys Guzmán Lopez. Mukul Dahiya’s aggressive, high-scoring bouts have marked him as one of the league’s breakout stars, while captain Aman Sehrawat opened his season with a dominant 16–1 technical superiority victory in under four minutes.
That competitive momentum is echoed in the anthem’s tone and visual language, mirroring the fearless approach the squad has displayed on the mat.
Aksha Kamboj, Executive Chairperson, Aspect Group, and Co-Owner of Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals, said the anthem represents the team’s ethos and its connection to the city. “This anthem brings together everything Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals stand for. It carries the sound of the city, the strength of the sport, and the belief that progress comes from staying committed to the journey. Mumbai thrives on resilience, and this anthem reflects a team that’s focused on growing, learning, and moving forward together,” she said.
Musically, the anthem blends street rap with traditional percussion, featuring driving chants, heavy drum patterns, and the sharp notes of the tutari to evoke the intensity of live wrestling action. The video intercuts match footage with training moments and Aman Sehrawat’s recent akhada visits across Mumbai, visually linking the sport’s grassroots culture with its evolving league-day spectacle.
Speaking about the anthem’s impact within the squad, Aman Sehrawat said it has added a renewed sense of energy and focus. “Hearing the anthem around the team environment adds energy and focus. As wrestlers, you go through phases, and what matters is staying together and staying hungry. This group believes in the work we’re putting in, and moments like this remind us why we’re here. We’ll keep building, keep learning, and look to bring our best every time we step onto the mat,” he said.
Lyrically, the anthem draws heavily from Mumbai’s spirit and wrestling’s traditional foundations, referencing red soil, discipline, and resilience. Rather than celebrating outcomes, it emphasises mindset, collective belief, and the ability to rise after setbacks,an approach that mirrors how the Tiigers are navigating their inaugural PWL season.
As Pro Wrestling League 2.0 gathers pace, the Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals’ anthem has quickly become part of the matchday atmosphere, positioning itself as a unifying thread between the city, the squad, and a fanbase growing in step with the team’s journey.
