Apple Music has unveiled its annual Replay feature, offering subscribers a detailed recap of their 2024 listening habits. Accessible at music.apple.com/replay, this year-end feature provides an in-depth look at users' musical preferences throughout the year.
Replay 2024 delivers seven key insights, including total listening minutes, top artists, favorite genres, and most-played songs. A standout addition this year is the ability to see if you're among an artist's top 100, 500, or 1,000 listeners worldwide.
For the first time, Replay includes animated highlight reels with background music, creating a dynamic and shareable visual representation of users’ listening journeys. Subscribers can compare their 2024 stats with 2023 milestones, making it a reflective and engaging experience.
Despite its new features, Replay remains web-exclusive, with the Apple Music app limited to playing the curated Top 100 playlist. This contrasts with Spotify's Wrapped, which offers a fully integrated in-app experience.
Replay is available on the website until December 31, with stats updating throughout the year. Subscribers can also add their Top 100 playlist directly to their Apple Music library, making it easy to relive their favorite moments.
The launch marks a major upgrade to Creator Music, which debuted in 2023 as a hub for pre-licensed tracks.
