AI-first music technology startup Tringbox has raised approximately Rs 5 crore in a seed funding round to accelerate the development of what it describes as the world's first environment-aware InStore AI Music Intelligence platform for commercial venues.
The round was led by Nikhil Gandhi through GIPL, with participation from MGB Family Office and Paytm Chief Business Officer Narendra Singh Yadav. Additional funding came from angel investors through One Love Technologies Private Limited, Tringbox's parent company.
Founded by Amandeep Singh Chawla, Tringbox spent its first year in stealth mode, focusing on building its core AI technology, conducting pilot deployments, gathering customer feedback and refining its product before a broader rollout. The platform is currently operational across more than 30 premium venues in India, including cafés, gyms, salons, clubs, restaurants, retail stores and clinics.
The startup is also backed by NVIDIA Inception and AWS startup credits worth Rs 1 crore, providing access to advanced AI tools, technical support and infrastructure as it scales its operations.
Reinventing In-Store Music
Tringbox aims to transform how commercial establishments use music by moving beyond static playlists. Its AI-powered platform dynamically adapts music selections based on factors such as venue type, weather conditions, temperature, humidity, time of day and day of the week.
At the core of the platform is Tringbox's proprietary Hybrid Neuro-Symbolic Music Engine, which combines audio intelligence with real-time environmental and venue context. The system analyses musical attributes including tempo, rhythm, loudness, energy and harmonic stability to curate soundtracks tailored to the emotional and functional needs of a space.

Prior to founding Tringbox, Chawla held leadership roles across analytics, product and growth functions at Ernst & Young, Amazon MX Player and Paytm.
Enterprise-Grade Music Intelligence
For multi-location businesses, Tringbox positions itself as a music intelligence layer rather than simply a background music provider. The platform enables brands to centrally manage in-store music across multiple outlets, maintain consistent brand ambience and monitor music operations through a unified dashboard.
Additional features include offline alerts when music stops at a venue, intelligent volume balancing and automated management of music programming, helping businesses reduce operational complexity while improving customer experience.
Built for Diverse Commercial Environments
The company's technology is led by Chief Technology Officer Badal Desai, who brings over a decade of experience in music systems, audio engineering and applied AI.
According to the company, its multimodal AI system operates at the audio-signal level, interpreting factors such as rhythmic patterns, loudness dynamics and spectral balance before combining these insights with venue-specific context. This allows the platform to automatically adapt music experiences across sectors including retail, hospitality, healthcare, wellness and fitness.
For example, a gym may require high-energy music that supports motivation and movement, while clinics and wellness centres may benefit from calmer soundscapes designed to reduce stress and create a more relaxed atmosphere.
Expanding Beyond In-Store Music
Alongside its commercial music intelligence platform, Tringbox also operates a consumer-facing music interaction solution that enables guests at restaurants, bars and entertainment venues to request songs through QR codes.
Its AI-powered "Vibe Check" system evaluates whether song requests align with a venue's music policy, audience profile and ambience before approving them. The platform is also integrated with DJs, singers, karaoke hosts and performers through the Tringbox Partner App, creating additional monetisation opportunities through tips, song requests and premium engagement features.
Growth Plans
With fresh capital in place, Tringbox plans to accelerate product development, expand its intelligent speaker network and increase deployments across premium commercial venues throughout India.
The company believes more than one million commercial establishments across retail, hospitality, fitness, wellness and healthcare represent a significant near-term opportunity for intelligent music infrastructure. Its long-term ambition is to become the default operating system for in-store music and commercial sound environments globally.
