Since their inception in 2013, Aswekeepsearching has travelled around the country, playing their unique brand of Post-Rock to their large and loyal fan base. With 'Khwaab' and the recently full length album 'Zia', they have continued to surprise their fans with just the level of work they do. They're almost always playing a show somewhere or the other and being someone who has seen them live twice now, it's an absolute treat to watch! Not only do they sound absolutely huge live, they also make the crowds bounce, sing and headbang with them with absolute ease. But guess what, your favourite Indian Post-Rock band is going international! Yep, that's right! Aswekeepsearching will soon embark on their first ever European Tour with Post-Rock extraordinaire's Tides of Man and pg.lost. Not only are they going to go through various countries, they're also going to be playing Dunk!festival and Pelagic Fest. Here's a wonderful video shot in the Rann of Kutch, showcasing their shows and dates:

We had a conversation with them about how they're preparing for the show and what they expect and it was quite insightful. Having already played abroad in Russia, the band wanted to expand its horizons as they were exposed to a very diverse audience in the process. Although they aren't sure if they'll break even on the tour, but they have been saving up for more than 2 years in order to pull this off. This shows that the band has been thinking ahead for a very long time. It's not just an opportunity they decided to pursue once given the chance.
They've been thinking and dreaming about this for a while and their hard work shows that they want to continue to expand. This is a feature that isn't seen in most bands in India. With the help of Only Much Louder and brands like Oneplus, Vans, Meinl and Darkglass, they want to make the tour as professional and high quality as possible, This is what Gautam Deb, the drummer of the band had to say,
This is the result of putting blood, sweat and tears towards materialising the dream for this tour.

If you're around Europe in the month of May and June or have friends that live in the cities they're playing, let them know about the band! We're more than happy to see more and more Indian bands go abroad and showcase their musical talents and represent the country in such a beautiful way!
