Havells mYOUsic Bootcamp Brings Together 40 Artists To Develop 25 Original Tracks

Havells mYOUsic, a grassroots music initiative by Havells India in collaboration with WPP Media and The Shakti Collective, has brought together 40 emerging musicians from across India for a bootcamp focused on developing original music and supporting artists beyond discovery.

Held at Amity University Rajasthan in Jaipur from October 10 to 18, the bootcamp worked across 25 original tracks, taking participants through audio production, recording, music video creation and live performance preparation. The initiative has received over 3,000 entries and witnessed more than 750 auditions.

The programme aims to address gaps in the music ecosystem by providing emerging artists with professional guidance, creative resources and industry exposure. Alongside production sessions, participants took part in knowledge-sharing sessions with industry professionals, collaborative jam sessions, live rehearsals and activities focused on personal growth and wellbeing.

Singer-songwriter Faheem Abdullah, known for the title track of Saiyaara, and music director Sadhu Tiwari, known for his work on Hanuman, also joined the bootcamp, offering participants an opportunity to engage with professionals from the music and entertainment industries.

Mukesh Kumar Jain, Vice President, Marketing, Havells India, said, “There is immense talent in the country which only needs the right platform to discover, curate, release their original work and gain exposure, fandom and monetization. This movement is about giving India’s hidden musical voices a platform to grow, to be heard, and to be celebrated.”

Vinit Karnik, Managing Director, ESP, WPP Media, said, “Havells mYOUsic demonstrates the power of culture-led initiatives. Our role has been to bring vision, talent, and execution together to enable this platform.”

Rohith Sobti, Curator and Co-Founder of The Shakti Collective, said the initiative aims to take artists beyond visibility by providing mentorship and professional development. “Havells mYOUsic is not just about discovery, it is about building a 360-degree journey for artists where they are guided from expression to professional readiness,” he said.

With the bootcamp completed, the 25 original tracks are set to reach audiences soon. The initiative aims to create a long-term platform that helps grassroots musicians develop their work, build industry connections and pursue sustainable careers.
