UNIFYD, a music festival curated by Shah Rukh Khan, will make its debut on March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, featuring Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam. The one-day event will bring together more than 15 artists across multiple stages.
Produced by D’YAVOL Live and District, the festival is being presented in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, in association with Emirates NBD.
Designed as an international music festival, UNIFYD aims to bring Indian music and culture to audiences from India, the Middle East and the wider global South Asian community. The inaugural edition will feature large-scale production across multiple stages.
The lineup includes Arijit Singh, a two-time National Film Award winner, and Karan Aujla, whose Punjabi music has gained a global audience. Sonu Nigam will also perform a special set, marking his first appearance at a music festival in his career.
As curator, Shah Rukh Khan will shape the festival’s artistic direction and creative vision. The actor said music has the power to bring people together, much like storytelling, adding that the festival would unite leading Indian artists on a shared stage.
Bunty Singh, Co-Founder of D’YAVOL Live, said UNIFYD aims to give Indian music a festival platform that reflects its global reach and influence. He added that the lineup, production and setting have been designed to match the scale of the event.
Rahul Ganjoo, CEO of District, said the festival would bring together different genres and generations of Indian culture, creating an experience for audiences and the diaspora beyond a single night of performances.
Abu Dhabi has been chosen as the festival’s first destination, with Yas Island serving as the venue. The organisers said UNIFYD has global ambitions, with plans to expand into additional cities and markets.
Tickets will be available exclusively through the District app. Early access for Emirates NBD cardholders begins at 9:30 am GST (11 am IST) on October 19, 2026, and closes at the same time on October 20. General ticket sales open at 10:30 am GST (12 pm IST) on October 20.
