Breakthrough has unveiled a new musical campaign, ‘Cash Karegi Muniya’, aimed at championing women’s financial independence and sparking conversations around economic empowerment.
Fronted by Sunidhi Chauhan, who has lent her voice to the track pro bono, the anthem brings together an all-women creative team, including composer Sneha Khanwalkar, lyricist Abhiruchi Chand, and rapper QK (Aarya Jadhao). The song blends a contemporary sound with a strong social message, targeting young audiences and encouraging dialogue around gender equality.
Positioned as more than just a music release, the campaign underscores Breakthrough’s belief in the power of media and pop culture to drive social change. At its core, the anthem highlights financial independence as a critical yet often overlooked aspect of women’s empowerment, urging young women to claim agency over their economic and personal futures.
Through its lyrics and narrative, Cash Karegi Muniya reflects the aspirations and lived realities of women, promoting self-reliance across social, digital, and economic spaces. The initiative builds on Breakthrough’s long-standing work in challenging gender norms and equipping young people with leadership and life skills, having reached millions through its programmes over the years.
With its upbeat tone and cultural relevance, the campaign aims to go beyond awareness, positioning the anthem as a call to action, encouraging society to support and recognise women’s financial autonomy while reshaping perceptions around gender roles.
