Music Biz 2025 Launches Agenda For First-Ever Atlanta Conference

The Music Business Association has officially announced the agenda for Music Biz 2025, set to take place from May 12-15 at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly. Marking a historic shift after a decade in Nashville, the conference adopts a new rotating host city model, with Atlanta as its first stop.

A New Chapter for Music Biz

The decision to move the event stems from the Music Biz Roadshow series, which has fostered connections between industry professionals and local artist communities in cities like Memphis and Chattanooga since 2022.

Key Events and Highlights

Music Biz 2025 kicks off on May 12 with a First Timers' Meetup, designed to help newcomers network with Music Biz staff and board members. The evening will conclude with an opening night party hosted by Spotify.

On May 13, the State of the Industry Breakfast will offer insights into global music consumption trends and industry forecasts. The Music Biz Roadshow, supported by The Mechanical Licensing Collective and Made In Memphis Entertainment, will return to provide strategies for artists and their teams to maximize revenue streams.

The fourth annual Bizzy Awards, sponsored by Warner Music, will be held on May 14. This year, the ceremony will honor the late Twitch executive Cindy Charles with the 2025 Presidential Award and recognize Digital Data Exchange (DDEX) with the 2025 Impact Award. Finalists for additional categories will be announced in February.
