Locals DISTRICT has announced the first wave of names for its third edition that features underground music heavyweights like Berlin legend and industry visionary DJ Hell, the music scientist Black Merlin and Terr - a project by Berlin-based DJ- producer Daniela Caldellas. Locals District- to be held from February 21-23 at 18th-century castle, Bara Bungalow in Kalwar, Rajasthan, continues the tradition of serving larger than life performers alongside stylish, avant-garde talent from the most culturally rich underground communities in India and across the globe. Locals DISTRICT has since its debut in 2018, come to be recognized as one of the most exciting 3 days celebrations, making it India’s only none of its kind music festival. Conceptualized with a mandate to showcase diverse, future-facing sounds from India and around the world, and shine a spotlight on homegrown talent. Locals DISTRICT represents an exciting vision of modern India, and its focus is as much on curating top quality music as on introducing new experiences to attendees. The festival will showcase Italian- Canadian DJ-producer John Acquaviva. Thai powerhouse DJ- producer Nakadia alongside Indian pioneers Midival Punditz supported by Locals AnR artistes (DJ and producer) Mr Red and Oryza. The 3 days extravaganza will feature London based ace selector and producer Tom Demac whilst the morning pop-up will move to the stories by Segue, Locals AnR homeboy. De Wallen Stage In its third year, the festival ropes in heavyweights like Berlin legend and industry visionary DJ Hell, the music scientist Black Merlin, Terr- project by Berlin-based DJ- producer Daniela Caldellas, Italian- Canadian DJ- producer John Acquaviva, German DJ-producer Sebastian Voigt, English DJ-producer Inxec, German DJ-producer Rauschhaus, French great Kiko and Bullzeye at the after-hours stage. Checkpoint Charlie Stage Thai powerhouse DJ- producer Nakadia at the festival main stage alongside Berlin-based Japanese wizard Sudo and Indian pioneers Midival Punditz alongside SHFT and Locals AnR artistes (DJ and producer) Mr Red and Oryza. The Cellar Stage Spring mornings shall ensure underground with the invisible Tom Gillieron and Locals AnR tech-house queen Bahaar. Other highlights include sets by Rohan Sable and Hamza at the tropical pool stage Aruba.
