The evening featured two iconic performers: Pt. Rajendra Prasanna, the legendary maestro of shehnai and bansuri from the esteemed Benaras Gharana, and Mame Khan, the celebrated Rajasthani folk artist, who delivered a mesmerizing celebration of India’s musical heritage.
Pt. Rajendra Prasanna enthralled the audience with his mastery of the shehnai and bansuri, skillfully blending intricate ragas with innovative improvisations that showcased the depth of classical Indian music. Mame Khan brought the vibrant energy of Rajasthan to life, delivering soul-stirring renditions of folk classics and his popular track Chaudhary.
