Haq Se Hindustan - Bringing Mumbai Together!
Qyuki's and RollingStone India's India's first hip-hop gig "Haq se Hindustan" at Famous Studios starred it all, and brought Mumbai City down to its knees with a spectacular night! Bringing together various facets of Hip-Hop — b-boying, beatboxing, rapping, DJing and graffiti. Graffiti-laden walls provided the crowd with the perfect background for their photographs. People from all kinds of creative fields came together to witness artists perform from seven cities, rapping in nine languages. MCs Younglord, Siddhu and Sky from The Dharavi Dream Project made a huge impression with their 'Haq Se Anthem' addressing about women empowerment. MC Manmeet Kaur lit up the stage by taking over the console to singing, rapping and inviting B-Girl Amby (Ambarin Kadri) from Mumbai-based Roc Fresh Crew for an onstage collaboration. Dopeadelicz featuring rappers Dope Daddy and Stony Psyko, added their touch by rapping in Hindi, Marathi and Tamil. Gubbi, who made his Mumbi Debut - dished out his set in English and Kannada. Swadesi, featuring MC Mawali, MC Tod Fod and MC Maharya, and electronica artist Mayur Narvekar aka Bandish Projekt's collaborated set got the crowd moving like anything! Shillong crew Khasi Bloodz and Prabh Deep were terrific as always and got their grittier set to the public! 4/4 Experiences pulled off a fantastic event, with a celestial line-up and filling up the auditorium to the tipping point! A+ effort on music and presenting the audience with an experience they can not forget!
