Grammy Award-Winning Singer Mahalakshmi Iyer To Share Stage With Shriram Iyer In Mumbai

Celebrated playback singer Mahalakshmi Iyer and singer-musician Shriram Iyer are set to come together for ‘Melodies for Change’, a special live concert in Mumbai on October 1, 2026. The concert will be held at the Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA, from 6:30 pm.

Organised in support of the Light of Life Trust’s Village Transformation Programme, the concert will bring the two artists together for an evening of Hindi and English melodies. The initiative aims to support the Trust’s work with under-resourced rural communities through education, healthcare, skilling and livelihood programmes.

Mahalakshmi Iyer, known for her work across multiple Indian languages and genres, has performed extensively as a playback and live artist. She has also collaborated with leading names including A.R. Rahman and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

The evening will combine live music with a social cause, with the concert positioned around the enduring appeal of familiar melodies and the role of music in bringing audiences together.

Tickets for the concert are currently available, with prices starting at Rs 500 for non-members.
