Performances by renowned folk artist Mame Khan, Indo-American flautist Rasika Shekar, Gully Bolly rapper Naezy, Lifafa and an Urdu blues act by the Sameer Rahat Urdu Blues Trio had the festival attendees spellbound.
Jaipur, January 3, 2020: Produced & promoted by Believe Entertainment, the Ranthambhore Music & Wildlife Festival 2019, one of India’s most unique festival experiences attracted music lovers from across the country who were treated to a weekend of music, art, nature & wildlife experiences. The festival held at the magnificent Nahargarh Palace in Ranthambhore, Rajasthan from December 27 -29,2019 witnessed spectacular music performances by renowned Indian artists across diverse music genres.
The sound of folk tunes filled the early evening air as audiences made their way to the festival. As the sun set, people lost themselves amongst the many venues and experiences they discovered through a maze of stunning architecture. From Wine Tasting sessions by Grover Wines at the palace garden, block printing and pottery workshops at the Fab India Craft Space, the Harley Davidson Test Ride Experience, a festival market featuring brands like Home Origin, Maschiaccio, Dhonk & Artifacto Tattoos, a Rajasthani puppet theatre performance, star gazing, festival-goers had loads to choose from.
The Corona Hathi Kund, the festival’s renowned step well-swimming pool stage, was a spectacular sight. The stage featured performances by the Arko Mukhaerjee Collective, Peter Cat Recording Company, Lifafa, Naezy. Nathulal Solanki’s Nagada Ensemble, Rasika Shekar & Mame Khan. Powerhouse performances set against this stunning backdrop created a stunning visual that seemed surreal.
As a thick fog descended on the palace on a freezing cold winter's night the Jeep Amphitheatre transformed into a scene that was short of a dream. A scene best complemented by the sounds of Ditty, Taba Chake and Sameer Rahat were real festival highlights.
During the daytime festival goers sprawled in the palace garden, sampled the festival food, visited the festival souk and off course visited the Ranthambhore National Park for the wildlife safari experience.
