Acclaimed music director Yuvan Shankar Raja has been officially announced as the composer for Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming feature, marking a highly anticipated creative collaboration in South Indian cinema. The film, produced by the Kannan Ravi Group, is set to be a grand multilingual entertainer, with releases planned across five Indian languages, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, aimed at audiences nationwide.
The announcement was made public via a social media poster shared by the production house, confirming Yuvan’s involvement in scoring the project’s music. This collaboration is notable as it reunites the composer with Aishwarya after their previous work together on the 2015 film Vai Raja Vai.
Kannan Ravi Group, the Dubai-based production house behind recent hits including Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, described the upcoming film as a “wholesome and sure-shot entertainer,” emphasising a vision built on strong creative partnerships and a shared cinematic ambition. The team says the project is designed to deliver an engaging experience for a diverse pan-Indian audience.
While further details, including the cast, specific genre, plot and release date, are yet to be revealed, the news has sparked interest given Yuvan’s stature in Tamil and broader Indian film music. Yuvan’s recent work includes the album Kombuseevi, and he is attached to several other musical projects, including films with directors Ram and Desingh Periyasamy.
This collaboration adds another chapter to Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial career, which began with 3 (2012) and includes ventures like Lal Salaam (2024) and underscores the continued synergy between accomplished filmmakers and top-tier composers in India’s evolving multilingual cinema landscape.
