Globally renowned artist Radhika Das has released a new EP titled Lightfall, a five-track project that brings together ancient mantra traditions with contemporary production.
Produced by Seattle-based, Grammy-nominated producer Ryan Hadlock, the EP is positioned as a modern reinterpretation of India’s spiritual music heritage. With Lightfall, Das seeks to move mantra music beyond traditional temple settings and into everyday listening, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
The project blends energetic compositions with meditative chants, reflecting a range of sonic textures rooted in India’s diverse musical traditions. It follows the release of earlier singles Sita Rama Jaya and Hara Mahadeva, and continues the journey with tracks such as Radha Ramana Haribol, Bhajahu Re Mana, and Radhe Radhe.
Speaking about the release, Das said, “Lightfall is an offering. A way to carry timeless mantras into everyday moments, creating space for connection, reflection, and something deeper within.”
The EP has been designed as a concise, studio-produced format aimed at reviving kirtans and chants for contemporary audiences, while retaining their spiritual depth. By merging traditional devotional elements with modern soundscapes, Lightfall attempts to create a bridge between heritage and present-day listening habits.
Lightfall is now available across major streaming platforms.
