JioSaavn Announces Return Of India Superhits Awards For Second Edition

JioSaavn has announced the return of the India Superhits Awards, marking the second edition of its data-led music awards that recognise the country’s most streamed music and artists. The awards will honour songs and creators based on music released and streamed between January 1 and December 31, 2025.

Unlike traditional music awards that rely on jury panels or nomination-based voting, the India Superhits Awards are driven entirely by listener behaviour on the platform. Winners are determined through streaming performance and engagement data, offering an objective snapshot of what India actually listened to over the year.

The awards track top-performing tracks and artists across 10 languages, Hindi, English, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, Bengali and Marathi, reflecting the multilingual and regional diversity of India’s audio streaming ecosystem.

To recognise the full creative value chain, the India Superhits Awards will honour artists and creators across five performance-driven categories in each language. These include Most Streamed Song, Most Streamed Female Artist, Most Streamed Male Artist, Most Streamed Lyricist and Most Streamed Composer.

Grounded in streaming data, the awards aim to provide insights into audience behaviour, regional listening trends and sustained consumption patterns. With its second edition, the India Superhits Awards 2026 further position JioSaavn not only as a leading audio streaming platform, but also as a key source of insight into how music is consumed across India.

The winners of the India Superhits Awards 2026 will be announced in the coming weeks.
