Feature.fm And SonoSuite Partner To Integrate Music Marketing Into Distribution Workflows

Music marketing platform Feature.fm has entered into a strategic partnership with SonoSuite, a provider of white-label technology solutions for the independent music industry, to integrate marketing automation tools directly into distribution workflows.

The collaboration will allow companies using SonoSuite's distribution infrastructure to offer embedded marketing capabilities alongside their existing services, enabling distributors, labels and artists to manage promotion and distribution from a single ecosystem.

Through the integration, SonoSuite-powered distributors will be able to automatically generate marketing assets such as Pre-Save campaigns and Smart Links, collect audience and fan data, and provide artists with access to self-service marketing workspaces within their distribution platforms.

The partnership has been developed to address the growing demand among distributors and labels for scalable marketing solutions, particularly as independent music businesses seek greater control over artist access, permissions and workflow management.

Dan Sander, Chief Commercial Officer at Feature.fm, said the collaboration was designed around the realities of how modern distributors operate. He noted that distributors increasingly require flexible tools that integrate marketing automation into their existing services while allowing different levels of access for artists, labels and distribution clients.

The integration also introduces dedicated Feature.fm workspace environments, enabling distributor teams to independently create, manage and analyse marketing campaigns. This approach allows distribution businesses to package marketing services in different ways while maintaining oversight of client access and usage.

Hen Heimdal, Chief Commercial Officer at SonoSuite, said distributors are now expected to provide both distribution and marketing infrastructure. He added that Feature.fm's technology allows SonoSuite clients to embed advanced marketing tools directly into their platforms while retaining full control over how those services are offered.

Heimdal also highlighted the long-term potential of Feature.fm's work in fan relationship management, audience data and direct fan communication, areas that are becoming increasingly important across the independent music sector.

The partnership reflects a broader industry shift toward connecting distribution infrastructure with marketing technology as labels and distributors look to streamline operations and help artists build stronger direct relationships with their audiences.

Caio Coelho, CEO of Brazilian music company Paralogy, which uses SonoSuite's platform, welcomed the move, stating that independent music businesses increasingly require innovative tools to engage fans and drive catalogue growth. He described the integration as a practical solution that simplifies workflows for both labels and artists while addressing evolving market needs.
