Lollapalooza India is set to return to Mumbai’s iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse for its landmark fifth edition on January 23 and 24, 2027, marking five years of bringing together global music, homegrown talent, fashion, food, art and culture.
The festival, which has grown into one of India’s prominent live entertainment and cultural platforms, will feature four stages and more than 20 hours of live performances, continuing its focus on internationally acclaimed artists alongside emerging Indian talent.
Lollapalooza India 2027 Ticket Sales
Ticket sales for the 2027 edition will begin with an exclusive Pre-Sale for RuPay Credit Card Holders at 11 AM IST on August 30, 2026, followed by the Early Bird On-Sale at 11 AM IST on September 2, 2026. Tickets will be available through BookMyShow.
The 2027 edition will also bring back RuPay Amplified Access, offering RuPay Credit Card Holders additional benefits across General Access, Lolla Comfort by RuPay and Lolla VIP experiences. Perks include select food experiences, a merchandise voucher and a complimentary cocktail/mocktail voucher at designated festival bars during a specified time window.
Over the past four editions, Lollapalooza India has hosted international acts including Imagine Dragons, The Strokes, Sting, OneRepublic, Jonas Brothers, Green Day, Shawn Mendes, Louis Tomlinson, Playboi Carti, Linkin Park and YUNGBLUD. The festival has also provided a platform to Indian artists such as DIVINE, Hanumankind, Prateek Kuhad, Bloodywood, Nucleya and Talwiinder, among others.
The 2026 edition recorded the festival’s largest crowds to date, with Linkin Park’s much-anticipated Mumbai performance becoming the biggest single-performance audience since Lollapalooza India’s debut in 2023.
More Than a Music Festival
Beyond its music programming, Lollapalooza India has evolved into a wider cultural ecosystem featuring the Lolla Food Park, large-scale art installations, brand activations and fan-led communities. The festival attracts audiences from across the country and has increasingly become a destination for concert and festival tourism.
According to a Live Nation survey of Lollapalooza India 2026 attendees, nearly two in three attendees travelled from outside Mumbai to attend the festival. Meanwhile, 97% said they intended to return for future editions, while close to 60% cited music discovery and the festival atmosphere among their key reasons for attending.
The festival’s growing influence also reflects India’s expanding live entertainment ecosystem and the increasing appetite among young audiences for immersive, global-scale cultural experiences.
LollaForChange Continues Focus on Inclusion and Sustainability
Lollapalooza India will continue its #LollaForChange initiative in 2027, with a focus on sustainability, accessibility and inclusivity.
The festival’s accessibility measures include sign language interpreters, PWD viewing platforms, wheelchair-friendly infrastructure, gender-neutral washrooms, free hydration stations, trained counsellors and dedicated help desks. Family-friendly initiatives such as the Tag Your Kid programme and protective earplugs for children are also designed to make the festival more accessible to audiences of different ages.
On the sustainability front, the festival continues to work on reducing single-use plastic, donating surplus food to local communities and promoting greener mobility through initiatives including #TakeTheTrain and Cityflo shuttle partnerships.
With brands including H&M, Budweiser 0.0, Johnnie Walker Luxe Blended Water, Sprite, Airbnb, Nivea, Fastrack, RuPay, Vedica Himalayan Spring Water and Wellbeing Nutrition’s Hydrasalt supporting the 2027 edition, Lollapalooza India is set to return with another genre-spanning celebration of music and contemporary culture.
As it enters its fifth year, Lollapalooza India continues to position itself as more than a music festival, emerging as a cultural platform that connects India’s evolving music community with global artists, audiences and experiences.
