On January 26, 2025, as India celebrated its 76th Republic Day, singer-composer Jasleen Royal delivered a powerful rendition of the National Anthem at Ahmedabad’s iconic Narendra Modi Stadium. The event preceded Coldplay’s final Indian show of their globally acclaimed Music of the Spheres World Tour.
The concert, a historic moment for live entertainment in India, drew a record-breaking crowd of over one lakh attendees. Jasleen Royal, who opened for Coldplay at all five shows of their India tour, also collaborated with the band for a special rendition of their song, “We Pray.”
The British rock band concluded their Indian journey on a high note, sharing a breathtaking image of fireworks from the Ahmedabad finale. In a heartfelt message to fans, they expressed gratitude:
“Thank you, Ahmedabad, thank you, India. We'll never forget these two weeks. Your love and kindness will stay with us forever,” the band wrote on X.
Coldplay’s India tour included three electrifying concerts in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, followed by two unforgettable shows in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. The Music of the Spheres World Tour will continue in Hong Kong this April.
