Budweiser India Hits The Streets With Its Latest Collection
Last Week, Budweiser Experiences unveiled its first-ever streetwear collection in India, BUDXSTREET, in collaboration with five leading culture shapers in the country, namely VegNonVeg, Huemn, NorBlackNorWhite, Hanif Kureshi and Boxout.FM; transcending fashion into the diverse realms of art, music, and heritage. The collection is a dive back into Budweiser’s archives and iconic styles of the past, giving the pieces a modern-day yet vintage feel. It focuses on exposing a new generation of consumers to the brand’s legacy through a contemporary fashion lens, while also catering to vintage collectors and lovers. Budweiser Experiences last week transcended fashion into the diverse realms of art, music, and heritage on the 19th January 2019 at One Style Mile, Delhi. The collection also celebrates emerging culture and visionaries who fuel it, and announces Budweiser’s commitment to continue powering this culture forward. The exclusive launch witnessed stellar performances by BOXOUT.FM, an online community radio station and BUDXSTREET collaborator, who perfectly set the vibe for the evening.  This pulsating performance was followed by London DJ and party starter Shama Anwar, who juggled between both old and new school hip-hop music to get the crowd grooving to her eclectic beats. The evening was taken to the next level by DUB FX, Australian musician and worldwide street performer who surfed seamlessly between reggae, hip-hop, samba, drum ‘n’ bass, and dubstep. As leading hip hop artist and rapper DIVINE took the stage, he had the whole audience enthusiastically grooving to his latest tracks with his stellar live performance. Adding to the vibe, the venue One Style Mile had the perfect ambience to celebrate the launch of this exclusive collection owing to the mélange of high street and heritage interiors. The event witnessed the entire cultural community of fashionistas, designers, stylists, artists and musicians come together to be a part of this iconic launch.
Commenting on the launch, Kartikeya Sharma, Vice President Marketing – South Asia, AB InBev, said, “We are ecstatic and overwhelmed to see the response to the collection in its preview stage. It was surreal to watch the entire cultural community come together to revel in the launch of our first collection in India. Working with the collaborators to curate something so unique has been an amazing experience, and we look forward to more exciting partnerships in the future.”
The collection will be exclusively available on www.budfactory.in, while the official launch event commemorating the release is slated for January 19 th at One Style Mile, New Delhi.
