The latest edition of the Billboard list also includes several other noteworthy names from the global music industry.
Joining industry luminaries from Tencent Music, Snapchat and YouTube for the 2019 list, the recognition represents the growth of global alliances and representation in the music industry, which has traditionally been dominated by artists, record labels and technology developed in the United States and Europe.

Digital Power Players list marks an impressive personal achievement for Rishi, who has been leading the JioSaavn team since 2008. Malhotra has been integral in establishing the company as not only the largest music streaming service in South Asia, but also a global leader for innovation and original content and the industry’s bridge to India.
