Universal Music India has released ‘Laapata’, a new collaboration bringing together Punjabi music artists Kunwarr, BIR and DAAKU. The track blends Afro-inspired rhythms, Punjabi melodies and emotionally driven storytelling, offering a contemporary take on the genre.

Produced by DAAKU, ‘Laapata’ features vibrant percussion, global-inspired textures and an upbeat, groove-led production. Kunwarr brings his melodic and charismatic vocal style to the track, while BIR adds an emotive layer through his vocals. DAAKU also features as a vocalist alongside his role as producer.
