Tiger Baby Records Takes Its First Step With Singer-Songwriter Ankur Tewari’s New Lullaby Single ‘Aaja Nindiya’

The newly-launched Tiger Baby Records will mark its first release with ‘Aaja Nindiya’, the first single from the soon-to-be-released EP of the same name by singer-songwriter Ankur Tewari. The single releases on March 17 while the EP will be available March 24 onwards. Pre-save the EP here.

The first release for the newly-announced label – of which Tewari is a co-founder – Aaja Nindiya is as much a passion project for the founders as it is a mission statement.

“The first musical experience in one’s life is always a lullaby and Aaja Nindya felt like a beautiful way to start the Tiger Baby Records journey,” says Zoya Akhtar, who is a co-founder alongside Reema Kagti, adding, “With this EP, we hope to add a newer sound to an already rich lori tradition and create songs that parents and children can enjoy.”

Aaja Nindiya is the first of four EPs targeted at the much underserved market of children’s music in India.
