Ramayana Bags Rs 75 Crore Music Rights Deal With T-Series Ahead Of Trailer Launch

The makers of Ramayana have finalised a Rs 75 crore advance agreement with T-Series for the music rights of the film's two-part saga, marking one of the biggest audio deals ever for a Hindi film. The agreement comes just ahead of the worldwide launch of the film's trailer.

The deal covers the soundtrack of both installments of the ambitious mythological epic, which is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra. According to reports, T-Series emerged as the successful bidder after multiple rounds of negotiations, underscoring the industry's confidence in the film's music and commercial potential.

Featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ramayana is among the most anticipated Indian films in recent years. The project brings together Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer, who is creating the background score, and A.R. Rahman, who is composing the songs, making their collaboration a major highlight of the film.

The trailer is scheduled to premiere globally on July 30, with the first part of Ramayana set for a Diwali 2026 theatrical release. The second installment is expected to arrive during Diwali 2027.
