Qinetic Music Releases ‘Shohag’ Featuring Tanishk Bagchi And KikiMoteleba In Global Collaboration

Qinetic Music has unveiled “Shohag,” a new single that brings together Bollywood hitmaker Tanishk Bagchi and Ivorian singer KikiMoteleba in a cross-continental collaboration.

For Bagchi, the release marks a return to Bangladesh, where his professional journey began with a debut album on Ektaar Music in 2007, long before he became one of Bollywood’s most-streamed composers. Nearly two decades later, “Shohag” reconnects him with those early roots, this time through a sound shaped by global pop influences.

Directed by Thejo Bharathwaj, the music video adds a cinematic layer to the track. Known for his visually driven independent work, Bharathwaj brings a strong narrative sensibility that mirrors the song’s international ambition.

Musically, “Shohag” weaves Bangla lyrical emotion with global pop textures and Afro-inspired rhythms, reflecting how Bangladeshi music is increasingly engaging international audiences while staying culturally anchored. The collaboration positions the track as a meeting point between South Asian melodies and contemporary global sounds.

Qinetic Music said the release aligns with its vision of expanding the global reach of Bangladeshi music through bold, cross-border collaborations, while continuing to nurture local creative voices.

KikiMoteleba, who gained international attention with his Afrobeats-influenced hit “Tigini,” brings a distinct African pop energy to the song. The track had gone viral on TikTok and YouTube and later earned Gold certification in Spain following a remix with Spanish artist RVFV.

Bharathwaj, who previously received global recognition for the viral Tamil hit “Aasa Kooda,” continues to work across music videos and short films under Theepetti Pictures, bringing his signature storytelling style to the project.

With “Shohag,” Qinetic Music, Tanishk Bagchi and KikiMoteleba come together on a release that underscores the growing presence of Bangladeshi music within a global soundscape.
