PRH India, Kuku FM Partner To Launch 15 Hindi Audiobooks Across Genres

Penguin Random House India and Kuku FM have launched 12 Hindi audiobooks as part of their previously announced 15-title partnership, with the titles now available on the Kuku FM platform.

The catalogue spans a wide mix of genres including mythology, memoir, biography, business and science. Among the titles released are The Book of Ram, Jaya, Manoj Bajpayee, Tata Stories, and Make Epic Money, reflecting a curated selection aimed at diverse listener preferences.

According to the companies, this marks the first time these books have been made available as Hindi audiobooks. The move aligns with the rising demand for audio content in regional languages and the growing popularity of long-form listening formats across India.

Vidhi Nangia, Lead – Audiobooks at Penguin Random House India, said the selection was carefully curated to include widely read and enduring titles that resonate across audiences. She added that the initiative represents the publisher’s first step into professionally produced Hindi-language audiobooks, signalling an important evolution in how it reaches readers in a rapidly changing consumption landscape.

Ankit Saraswat, Vice President – Business at Kuku FM, noted that the collaboration strengthens the platform’s positioning as a key destination for premium intellectual property in regional audio. He highlighted the company’s focus on scaling high-quality audiobook offerings for India’s expanding vernacular audience base.

The remaining three titles from the 15-book slate are expected to be released in the coming months, as both companies deepen their focus on the Indian-language audio segment.

The current lineup features works by prominent authors including Devdutt Pattanaik, Ankur Warikoo, Raghuram Rajan, Neena Gupta, and Indra Nooyi.
